Pre-show notes note: My apologies for not getting this out to you all yesterday when this episode went live. My sweet father-in-law lost his long and courageous battle with cancer over the weekend and the funeral was yesterday. It has been a time of extraordinary sadness and deep grief. He was a beautiful soul who never met a person he didn’t like and who didn’t like him right back! He found joy in everything and loved living life. I learned many valuable lessons from him for which I am very grateful, and I will miss him always.

In this episode, I return to basics and discuss ways to protect your energy no matter what may be going on around you – a pandemic, a crisis with your child, or just the usual day to day ups and downs of raising teenagers!

I first look at identifying the different ways your energy gets sapped, and then I detail tips and tools for strengthening your reserves and protecting them.

  • All is well.
  • I am open to creative solutions.
  • I am guided. I am protected. I am loved. I am safe.
  • I move through my day with grace, wisdom, and light.
  • I choose to see joy.
